Delete your account
Draft for review. This page is being checked before the YatryOne apps go live. Questions: support@yatryone.com
You can delete your YatryOne account at any time. This page explains how, for the YatryOne app (riders and people sending goods) and the YatryOne Driver app (drivers and fleet owners).
1. From the app (fastest)
- Riders: open the YatryOne app and go to your Profile. Drivers: open YatryOne Driver and go to your Profile. Fleet owners: on your fleet page, open the ⋮ menu at the top.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Read what will be deleted and confirm.
Your mobile number is one YatryOne account in both apps. Deleting it in either app deletes everything: your rider details, your driver profile and your fleet.
If you have a ride on now or a trip booked for later, finish or cancel it first. Fleet owners: wait until none of your drivers is on a ride, and finish or cancel any heavy truck trips in hand. The account is deleted at once and the app returns to the start screen.
2. Without the app
If that mobile number still receives text messages, the quickest way is the app: install it on any phone, log in with the number and delete the account as above.
If you cannot do that, email support@yatryone.com with the subject “Delete my account” and your registered mobile number. We will confirm it is you, delete the account with the same data listed in section 3, keep only what section 4 lists, and write back when it is done, within 30 days of your request.
3. What is deleted
- Your profile and login: name, mobile number, gender, app language, saved places and trusted contacts.
- Favourite drivers, and for drivers, your place in riders’ favourites.
- Your push address (the notification token).
- Chat messages and voice notes you sent in your rides.
- For riders: spoken pickup hints, pickup notes, the extra drop address saved with a hospital ride, the mobile numbers of receivers and stop contacts on your goods rides, and for heavy truck loads the receiver’s name and your mining permit and UPI payment proof photos. Also your live trip links, the name and mobile number of anyone you booked a ride for, and the names and mobile numbers of friends you picked up on the way.
- For drivers: your driver profile (vehicle, UPI ID, licence details), selfie and document photos, live location and your place in any station line. If you drive for a fleet, the vehicle is freed for a new driver. Your invite code and your invite records are deleted too; drivers you invited keep their accounts, and their “Invited by” then shows “Deleted driver”.
- For fleet owners: your fleet, its vehicles and their join codes, the photos of their papers and the fleet’s strike records. Your open return truck posts are closed. Drivers are taken off your vehicles; their own driver accounts stay.
- Your name, mobile number and trusted contacts on safety alerts: at once on closed alerts, and on an open alert as soon as the office closes it.
4. What is kept, and why
- Past ride records (date, places, vehicle, distance, fare, how it was paid, tips and ratings), because transport, tax and consumer law require them. Your name on them becomes “Deleted user” or “Deleted driver”.
- On goods rides, the goods details and the receiver’s name, and the driver’s photos at loading and delivery, as the delivery record. For heavy truck loads also the trip photos and papers (weigh slips, lorry receipt, proof of delivery, toll and breakdown photos), the goods value and the e-way bill number (tax law).
- Fleet owners: your business name, GSTIN and UPI ID on past heavy truck trips, as the trip and tax record. Your business name, route and dates also stay on your past return truck posts, and your business name on price offers you sent for loads.
- Chat messages the other person sent in your rides, as part of that ride’s record.
- Drivers: chat messages and voice notes you sent in a ride you later gave up (it went to another driver), and price offers you sent on rides you did not get, which show your name and number plate.
- Drivers: strike records (points and reason) with the ride they belong to.
- Safety alerts, reports and complaints, with the ride they belong to (your details on them are removed as section 3 says), and a note of when the account was deleted.
- Fleet and vehicle paper photos are deleted from storage straight after the account. If a storage error stops that, they stay until we remove them; write to us and we will check.
